Gowrings Ford Reading

Gowrings Ford Reading staff were good because they were very helpful and friendly, explaining all the options avalaible and making the purchse of my wife's new car an enjoyable experience.

I'd endorse Gowrings Ford Reading because they were very helpful and were willing to trawl through lists of cars available from other Ford sites to satisfy my "shopping list". Liked the fact that I was told I could telephone at any time if I had any questions and, due to the fact that we had a slight problem with our payment method, the manager couldnt have been more understanding to get the matter resolved.

My experience at Gowrings Ford Reading could have been better because the car came with incomplete documentation (incorrect manual and no radio code). This has still not been resolved to my satisfaction and nobody at the dealership has really been bothered.

I wouldn't recommend Gowrings Ford Reading because my wife was treated very poorly. She took the car back because of problems with the car pulling to the left. We then waited over 2 hours to be fobbed off and the problem not rectified. When the car was taken back at a pre-arranged time my wife had to wait 3 hours to be told the problem had been resolved. However, it had not. We took the car to a local garage we trust and the problem was resolved in 15 minutes for £20 by moving the front wheels to the back. The wheels had been removed to repair the alloy finish and were clearly not put back on in the same order. We were also told that the front tyres must be replaced straight away as they are so badly worn. We are thus facing a bill for £250 to put right something I would not expect a respectable garage to be unable to rectify. The inside of the car was very poorly cleaned and we doubt how effective the Sureguard will be. Overall, although we were very pleased with the salesperson, Sean Caulcrick, we were not happy with the service department at all.

Gowrings Ford Reading were fantastic because our sales rep was really helpful and did not over-sell in a pushy manner but listened to our requirements. Already recommended to my nephew and his girlfriend who have subsequently bought a new vehicle as well.

I would recommend Gowrings Ford Reading because the staff are always very cheerful and helpful. The staff explain all details and functions of the car and nothing is too much trouble.As a customer the praise covers all the departments encluding the receptionist
